Team HopeFull is a 501 c 3 non profit organization. Our mission is to fulfill the lives of people with Prader-Willi Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities, through charitable contribution.

Meet our Board Members

Rachel Johnson (President) Rachel is a mom of 2 daughters, with her oldest diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome. She is a pulic school teacher of over 20 years with a masters degree in special education. Rachel is a founding member of Team HopeFull, established in 2011. She has also served on the board of the Prader-Willi Alliance of NY.

Shawn Johnson (Treasurer) is the father of 2 daughters, with his oldest diagnosed with Prader-WIlli Syndrome. He is a Program Manager at Lockheed Martin and has his MBA from Syracuse University. Shawn is a founding member of Team HopeFull established in 2011. He is also a former board member of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research.

Susan Schofield (Secretary)

Susan Lupo Schofield is the grandmother of a child with Prader-Willi Syndrome. She is also a co-owner of Spiedie & Rib Pit in Binghamton. She brings her years of business experience to the Team Hopefull Board and is driven by her passion for helping those with intellectual disabilities.

Amy Panella (Director) is an Art Teacher and long time art contributer to Team HopeFull. She created the Pawlandias logo as well as the awards and trophies for our longest standing fundraiser, the Halloween 13k.

Margaret “Penny” French (Director) is a Social Worker/Teacher who is very passionate about working with people with disabilities and helping them gain the skills they need to become lifelong achievers.

In the past 30 years, she has worked at ACHIEVE as a Rehab Counselor in the sheltered workshop, created a sign language group (Talking Hands) which gives each person a chance to highlight their talents and dreams and started a small dog food business to provide jobs to people with disabilities.
